Engagement photoshoot in La Fortuna Waterfall?
That sounds like an incredible idea! La Fortuna Waterfall in Costa Rica is a beautiful location for an engagement photoshoot/proposal, and the waterfall itself is an amazing backdrop for stunning pictures.
When planning your photoshoot, make sure to consider the following:
Safety first: Remember that La Fortuna Waterfall is a natural wonder, and safety should always be your top priority. Be sure to take all necessary precautions to avoid accidents, such as wearing appropriate footwear and staying on designated paths.
The rocks can be EXTREMELY slippery! Go slow, there's no rush!
Timing: The best time to take photos at La Fortuna Waterfall is during the dry season, from December to April. This is when the waterfall is at its most beautiful and the weather is also more predictable - I would even say little bit more predictable. It can start raining at any time - be ready for that too:)
Lighting: The lighting at La Fortuna Waterfall can be challenging due to the dense vegetation around it. Consider hiring a professional photographer (mmm... that's a really good tip :) who has experience shooting in natural settings and can capture the beauty of the waterfall in different lighting conditions. For this waterfall there's no rule. Morning or afternoon, both will work. Get in touch so I can explain you more.
Outfits: You'll want to choose outfits that are both comfortable and stylish. Think about the colors and fabrics that will complement the natural surroundings of the waterfall.
You can bring something to change after the shoot. Hiking back to the parking can be tiring, it's hot and humid. Also we're gonna probably end in the water ;)
