Kirsten & Thomas, Elopement - Playa Dominicalito, Costa Rica

Kirsten and Thomas planned their elopement in Costa Rica between the holidays and the new year. They came here for 2 weeks. It's very popular among couples to get married and then spend a few days on a romantic trip visiting the different parts of Costa Rica. For them, the perfect place for ceremonie was the south of Costa Rica in the area of Uvita. Here they stopped in a small hotel hidden in a hill among trees - Mar y Selva Ecolodge. Due to the fact that the pre-Christmas period is very popular for a getaway on the beach, finding a peaceful, unoccupied place bordered on a miracle. Together with Catherine from Costa Rica Paradise Wedding we arrived a few hours earlier to find the right place. Some of the beaches were so crowded that there was literally no space to put a match. Known for great luck, we found the right place that I would recommend to all couples wanting to get in a more crowded period - Playa Dominicalito - located only a few kilometers from Uvita is a very wide uncrowded beach, has parking and at low tide the surface is like a mirror and perfectly suited for photos.
